In 1 Pet 4:8, Peter gives the following exhortation to the Christian. We are to be fervent in our love, for this love will cover a multitude of sins. This is of course, not for our sins but those that are committed against us. Paul expressed the same thought in 1 Corinthians 13 when he spoke that if we don’t love the way God wants us to love, we receive, produce and are of not real value. The Love of God overlooks sins to the sinner who needs His forgiveness. When we love the way God wants us to love, in the agape style of love, then we can forgive even the most blantant sins that are committed against us. We love the sinner and not the sin. This love is something that has to be worked at. It does come to us naturally, but supernaturally. You must allow the love of God flow in and through you. You hold the key, you must allow this love in your life and not allow it to grow cold. The only way that you can keep it glowing is to keep in prayer, the word and worshipping the Lord in Spirit and in truth. The Lord will help you in dealing with the person that is rather unlovely. Keep that love fervent and glowing for it will truly help to cover a multitude of sins. Your promises today are, Ps 28:7, 34:18, 147:3, Prov 4:23, 15:13, Isaiah 30:15 and Jer 31:13. Your Insightful Sayings are: Patience is like the young man waiting for his date. It takes a while but the finished product is well worth it. Remember beauty is fleeting and even plastic surgery cannot fix an ugly heart.
