Vignettes on Prayer

In this snap shot we look at more commands to prayer. In Luke 18:1, told His disciples to pray and not to give up. Remember never give up and never surrender until the answer comes. Paul says in Eph 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” We are called to pray for all God’s people. It is our command. Paul of course says in 1 Thess 5:17, to pray always. Simple, concise and direct. James writes in James 5:13, that you find yourself in trouble pray, if you are happy sing songs of praise. Both are forms of worship. Each one of the scriptures we have look at today carries on major theme and that is the call to pray. So today find a time to get alone with God and do what you have been commanded to do. This is not an option, suggestion or thought. It is a command.
