In Matt 11:28, jesus gives an invitaion to come to him for rest.  If you are weary and burdened down, come to Jesus.  There is an old hymn that says we are to come to him and receive his yoke and He will make our burdens light.  Jesus came to set the captives free.  You and I before we came to know Jesus Christ were captives.  Jesus through His broken body and shed blood set us free.  Now it is time to receive and enjoy the wonderful blessings that have been given to us through Jesus Christ.  Let go of every burden and hurt and let Jesus carry it for you.  Never keep or carry a burden that you do not have to carry.  I remember one time when I was younger I went on a camping trip and carrying a heavy pack.  When it was time to put the pack down I was so happy.  You do not have to carry your burdens give them to Jesus and let Him carry them and walk in freedom and victory.
