In 1 Chron 28:11-19, we find that David was a man after God’s own heart, He was a man who was willing to admit when he was wrong. He was also one of the men of the Old Testament who had a real relationship with God. David had a desire to build a house for the Lord, He was not allowed because he was a man of blood. This however did not deter him from a work of preparation. He was led by the Holy Spirit to make plans. These plans were directed by the Lord. David designed the building and the method of worship for the temple. All these things he gave to his son Solomon. David would have his dream fulfilled through his son Solomon. David had the vision whih he imparted to his son and Solomon completed the task for the glory of God. Your promises are Isaiah 40:31, Prov 3:5-6, Eph 3:20, Phil 4:13 and Rev 12:11.
