A student of the great vocal improvisation masters, Rhiannon, David Worm, Joey Blake and Bobby Mcferrin, Karen brings that lineage and passion for spontaneous creative performance. The concert is a launch to Porkka’s Artist in Residency Program with Robertson Wesley’s Spiritual Arts Collective in April and May. The evening will be accented with special guests artists Farely Scott (bass), Dean Pierno (drums), George Koufogiannakis (stringed things), Jen Dunford (dance) and the V.I.N.E. Choir.
