The repertoire, a bouquet of sacred songs and hymns from a variety of traditions, “whisks the listener from the deeply emotional inspiration of Handel’s Praise the Lord, (from Judas Maccabeus) to the irresistible, unquenchable spirit of When the Saints Go Marching In, with many delightful stops along the way,” in the words of Te Deum’s Conductor and founder, Diana Wiens. “This concert gives us a vehicle we can ride into the promise of Spring … a concert to remember.”
