In 1 Chron 29:14, Ezra in writing this portion reminds his readers and us that everything comes from the hand of God.  the Lord is the source of all our blessings.  The problem is for many we think it was our skill, wisdom and patience that brought the many blessing we have.  The reality is that God gave us everything and we should use it for His glory.  Self made people will always give credit to themselves for what they have.  That is why they will never have the Lord’s blessing.  They focus on themselves and not God.  It is their pride that gets in the way of them recieving God’s blessing.  When you know that everything comes from God and He is the source of your abundance then you will have all the benefits of heaven.  Paul said that it was God that supplied all his needs.  Blessings come from God and they flow into our lives because we are grateful and thankful.  It is an attitude of gratitude that fully releases all God’s blessings.  So today walk with a heart of thanksgiving and receive all God has for you.
