In Acts 14:8-10, Paul met a man in the city of Lystra and he asked the man if he wanted to be healed. The man beleived the message and Paul in faith asked the man to stand up and the man did, because he had faith to believe God could heal him. The element that made the man well was faith. Faith is a very complex thing. There is natural faith and saving faith. Natural faith is based in man. Saving faith is based in God and His word. Saving faith is the type that nakes a man take God at His word. Saving faith is the type that heals, restores, saves and raises people from a fallen state. Heb 11:1 gives the Bible definition of faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for or certain of what we do not see. You can’t lay your finger on faith, you just know it is there. You know what you believe and why and no one is going to change your mind. Let your faith and hope be based on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
