God sees our potential

In Judges 6:12 we find the story of Giedon.  It is a powerful and under rated as it tells of a young man who had to rely on the power of the Lord.  God always sees the potential not the person.  Gideon was not a great man of valour in his own eyes but the Lord saw potential for victory in Gideon.  When God looks at us He does not look through rose couloured glasses He looks at us through the bloood of Jesus Christ.  He sees potential not the faults.  As a new Christian there was a fellow I thought no one could use.  Yet God raised him up for a great work of God.  I myself am an example of this.  I have no talents of my own but the Lord still uses me.  I am so thankful for each opportunity.  Remember the Lord doesn’t look at what you are but what you can be.  Your promises are today.  Prov 3:5-6, Phil 4:13, 4:19, Eph 3:20 and Isaiah 41:10
