He will save us

Today I am starting a new approach to my daily blogs.  I will be giving you all the promises from the New Testament.  Our first will Matt 1:21, where it says that His name shall be called Jesus and He will save His people from the ir sins.  Right from the very beginning the mission and purpose of Jesus Christ is shown.  Jesus was born to save mankind from their sins.  Jesus came for one reason and one reason alone and that is salvation.  Jesus had a clear focus for His life.  Unlike many of us Jesus knew why He had come.  Unfortunately for most of us we think that doing life is an accumulation of wealth and producing family.  We seem to have little time or inclination for God.  Usually our time for God includes a little prayer or bible reading and then the rest of the day we do what we want.  God saved mankind from our sins that we could have a relationship with Him.  My challenge for you today is to take this wonderful gift and use it wisely.  Spend time with God everyday and maximize your relationship with Him.  He has a plan and purpose for your life.  Jesus did not just come to give you eternal life but abundant life as well.  Take advantage of every moment we have and use them for God’s glory.
