John Berry’s Receipe Day 4

Grilled Smoked Asparagus (appetizer)

(Serves 4 people with 3 pieces each)

12 Asparagus Spears (Blanched to 3/4 cooked then cool)

12 Slices of Proscuitto (paper thin slices)

12 Strips (pieces) of Smoked Applewood Cheddar Cheese

Olive Oil


Lay 1 piece of Proscuitto on cutting board.  Place 1 piece of sliced applewood smoked cheddar cheese on proscuitto.  Next place 1 blanched spear of asparagus on top of cheese.  Roll Proscuitto up and brush with Olive oil.  Place on the Grill at medium to high heat and cook until proscuitto is crispy.
