Over the next the next three vignettes we are going to look at 1 Thess 5:16-18. The first says to rejoice. Rejoicing means to be happy and full of joy. The bible teaches that the joy of the Lord is our strength. There is a wonderful Psalm that says therefore with joy shall we draw waters from the wells of salvation and in that day shall we say praise the Lord. Salvation is the foundation of our joy. Prayer is the avenue in which is released into our lives. Joy is an important part of prayer. It is the launch pad of your time of pray. Rejoicing is a form of praise and worship. You are expressing what is in your heart because what God has done. So today rejoice always. You are just drawing from those wells of salvation and thanking the Lord for what He has done.
