In Exodus 40:34-38, We see the nation of Israel being led by the cloud of God which is a symbol of His presence.  They would only move when it moved.  This is an example to you and I.  We should be obedient to the Lord.  The disciple should only move when God tells them to.  Jesus is a prime example of this principle.  It says in the book of John that Jesus only did and said what the Spirit revealed to Him.  Everything He did was for a reason.  He was led by the Holy Spirit in His daily walk.  Many years ago I had a problem with the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of Christ.  I was working on a Bible School course that I was going to teach and in that time of study I found the answer.  Jesus to be the perfect example, laid aside His godly attributes to work under the direction of the Holy Spirit just as we do.  When He knew things it was through the Holy Spirit.  As you start your day ask the Holy Spirit to lead you and He will.  Our promises today are as follows, Matt 6:22, Prov 3:5-6, 16:2-3, Psalm 25:9, John 16:13 and James 3:17.
