No Anxiety

In Prov 12:25, Solomon writes about anxiety can weigh down a heart.  Peter says that we are to let go of anxiety and turn it over to the Lord.  Fear and worry will destroy our vision of the future and take away our hope.  When those times come we are to ask the Lord to help us see the future as He does. Jeremiah the prophet tells us that God is not mad at us but He loves us and He has given us a hope and a future.  Now what really helps us is when we get an encouraging word.  The second part of this proverb says, "That a kind word cheers us up."  What God wants is that when we someone down cast or worried we should give them and encouraging word.  We all have times when we are over whelmed with the things of life and it is so good to hear a word of encouragement.  It is also good that we give others an encouraging word.  Solomon said that a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.  So today relieve the suffering of others by giving a kind word and cheer them up for the glory of God.
