Good day. Today I want to remind you of how important it is to include certain things in your life. Hebrew 10:23 reminds us to hold onto to the confession of our hope without wsvering, for He who promised is faithful. When God gives us a promise it creates hope in us. Hope is that little thing that gives promise of a future. If a person believes they have no future then they fall into dispair. As long as a person has hope they can stay focused and work towards a future. The writer of Hebrews says you must hold onto without wavering. He means that you must learn to trust God and yourself. The writer then states that when God makes a promise He will be faithful. Faith in the simpliest form is trust. Do you trust God. The realist would state, "I only trust in what I see, taste, touch, smell and hear." Such a limited view. The intangibles such as love, peace, joy and forgiveness are so much more wonderful. I do not know what you are facing in your world but can you trust God? God ask me the same question the other day. I have been working through some things in my life. I have been spending a lot of time time in prayer, reading the word and seeking His face. As I was thinking through some of these things God spoke into my heart and asked. "Do you trust me?" I answered of course. "Then trust me," He replied and this verse has become very special to me. I hope it will become that way to you as well.
