Trust in the Lord.

It is hard to believe that we are already at May 1st.  This year has flown by.  In Psalm 37:3-5, David presents to us a psalm full of wonderful truth.  Again in the style of the previous day we will look at the truth contained in this passage.  First, we are to trust in the Lord and do good.  This is a call to proper lifestyle.  Secondly, dwell in the land and enjoy good pasture.  This is a promise of safety and abundance.  Thirdly, when you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart.  God is so good that way.  Fourthly, when we commit our ways to the Lord He will do this and many other things for you as a Christian.  Lastly, He will make you shine forth in the world like the dawn or as the noon day sun.  People will see Christ in you and will have hope.  We are the light of God in this world.  Our light must not be hid.  This psalm is your promise today.  Your insighful sayings are:  Before you speak it is best to measure your words because once spoken they cannot be retracted.  You are known by the company you keep, so make sure you know what you want to say to those around you, about yourself.
