In Ruth 1:16-17, Ruth spoke these words out for her love for her mother in law Naomi.  Little did she know what these words were to mean to her future.  When the two ladies went back to Judah, they did not know what was in store for them.  In the town of Bethlehem Ruth met Boaz and they fell in love.  This love was shown in the greatest measure when Boaz redeemed Ruth.  Ruth became the wife of Boaz and they had a son named Obed.  Obed has a son named Jesse and Jesse had a son named David.  David would become the greatest king Israel ever had.  Later David would have a descendent named Jesus who would become the kindmens redeemer of all mankind.  What a privilege that was for Ruth who echoed these words.  Let the Lord be God of your life and let Him give you a heritage like Ruth.  Your promises today are Josh 24:16, Acts 16:31, Prov 22:6.
