Who is Jesus

Isaiah 11, is a whole chapter full of truths about our Lord Jesus Christ.  It has been said that the Old Testament points towards Jesus Christ.  Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6, He came not to do away with the law but to fulfill it.  Christ not only fulfilled the law but He took away the curse that it brought.  Paul gave a long talk about this subject in the book of Romans.  As the root of Jesse, Jesus when He was on earth was moved and motivated by the Holy Spirit.  The Spirit has wisdom, understanding, counsel, power, knowledge and respect for the Lord.  The Spirit of God will only point towards Christ.  He has come to reveal Christ to the hearts of men.  Today Christ as the root of Jesse is our example of righteousness and life in the Spirit.  It will do us good to spend some time in the gospels looking at the life of Christ to show us how we should live as Christians.  I guarantee it will change your life.  Your promises today are: Isaiah 53, Prov 3:5-6, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7 and James 1:5.  Your insightful sayings are:  The old hymn says, "Truth is marching on,"  the problem today is that too many are marching in the wrong band.  The problem with so many today is that they want to come out of the closet instead of cleaning it.
