Why get a cat?

Now I’m not the biggest cat guy but here’s a reason you may want to get one …

 

Owning a cat reduces people’s risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases, say researchers at the University of Minnesota. People who owned a cat anytime in their lives were 40 percent less likely to die from a heart attack and 30 percent less likely to die from any sort of cardiovascular disease than people who had never owned one, say doctors at the university’s Stroke Research Center.
